Inspiring Asia is a regional platform that amplifies stories of Asia's diverse cultures, innovative spirit, and commitment to positive change. Through the power of micro film, it gives young storytellers a stage to shed light on social, environmental, and community challenges, and to celebrate the determination and aspirations that define the Asian spirit.
Each year, the festival brings together filmmakers, universities, NGOs, and organizations to share stories that inspire action and spark dialogue. Beyond recognizing creative talent, Inspiring Asia supports impactful public welfare initiatives across the region, mobilizing social resources and fostering collaborative philanthropy for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Community empowerment is the process by which people draw on their collective strengths to shape their futures. It grows when people come together with trust, amplify voices often unheard, and build the resilience to thrive with dignity and hope.
In 2026, the festival unfolds through eight Regional Film Festivals across China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
For the first time, Mongolia holds its own national selection, Inspiring Mongolia, organized with regional partners Lorinet Foundation and Golomt Foundation. It opens a new stage for Mongolian filmmakers, students, NGOs, and changemakers to bring local stories to audiences across Asia.
